Science Students Create Endangered Species Project

Students in Mrs. Nsereko’s Environmental Science class at Roosevelt High school were given the task of designing a new exhibit for Blank Park Zoo which would raise awareness about the plight of endangered species. Students were required to work in groups to create a 3-d model of the new exhibit, a series of interactive educational displays for zoo visitors and a persuasive written proposal. On exhibit day students were excited to share their ideas with zoo staff, Roosevelt administrators and their peers.
