Congrats to the Girls’ Swim and Dive Team!

The Roosevelt Girls Swim and Dive Team dunked the Lady Indians of Indianola in a dual swim meet at the Roosevelt Pool this past Tuesday evening.  The Indianola team arrived at the pool decked out in purple and gold prepared to hit the water, but they were not prepared to meet the Roosevelt Lady Tankers on their home turf.  The Riders won the meet decisively, 133-50.  This elevates the Roosevelt team to a 3-1 record. The Roosevelt pool will remain dormant for a few weeks as the Lady Tankers visit Ames, Ottumwa and Des Moines East.  The Riders will return home to host Boone on September 26.
