Holocaust Survivor Speaks to Students Studying WWII
Dr. Harold Kasimow, Professor Emeritus of Religious Studies at Grinnell College, spoke to approximately 200 World History students of his experience as a Holocaust survivor in Poland. At age 4, his family hid from the Nazis for 19 months in a underground hole, dug by his father under a barn. Students asked insightful questions and the speaker was quite gracious and engaging.
