Freedom Writer speaks at PROUD Assembly

PROUD: People Respecting Our Unique Differences had their 5th Annual Assembly today. Students danced, sang, wrote original poetry and rapped. Then, Tony Becerra, one of the original Freedom Writers gave an inspiring speech about choosing who you will become. “Everyone has struggles to overcome, even if you can’t see them on the outside.”
