Gillette appointed to West Point Military Academy

Senator Chuck Grassley said that Connor Gillette received an appointment to the US Military Academy at West Point for the 2014-15 school year. Only 4 of the 55 students nominated by Grassley were appointed. The academies educate and train individuals to lead and command the US Armed Forces. “Admission to the service academies is highly competitive and a great honor,” Grassley said as he thanked Connor for his commitment to serve our country.  Connor is the son of Katie and Graham Gillette.
