Sharks Prepare for Synchronized Swim
The Roosevelt Sharks are preparing for their annual synchronized swim pageant!
Watch the drama unfold in the water at the Roosevelt High School pool this Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:00. The theme this year is “Sharks in the USA”.
Sharks sponsor Kara Taylor Elliott said there are 35 girls and 12 male ushers that are involved in the performance.
“The girls have been rehearsing since the beginning of January,” Elliott said. “But many of the upper classmen have been working on writing the routines since the beginning of the school year.”
The Roosevelt Sharks are the oldest high school synchronized swimming club in the nation, founded in 1926.
