Marks Accepted to Exclusive Jazz Program

Hannah Marks was accepted to the Brubeck Summer Jazz Colony in Lake Tahoe California. A very limited number of exceptionally talented students will participate in a one week  intensive educational program in jazz performance. Hannah was one of only four bass players accepted.  Applicants were from the United States, Australia, and the UK.

Hannah has played upright bass for one year and studies with Steve Charlson and Dave Altemeier.

She is a member of the Roosevelt Orchestra and can be seen around town playing with TRHS Alum Max Wellman and her own trio, MBR.
