Lady Tankers win the Central Iowa Metro League !

The Lady Tankers won the Central Iowa Metro League (CIML)Metro Championship Meet for the 14th year in a row.  The sixty-nine member Roosevelt team won both the varsity and junior varsity portions of the meet.  The team won all six relays.   Sophomore Natalie Galluzzo took home four gold medals.  She was on two relays that finished first and she won her two individual races:  200 Individual Medley and 100 Yard Breast.

The Lady Tankers won the varsity meet with  484 point total handily beating second place finisher Lincoln.  The Lady Tankers Junior Varsity team edged out Indianola with a score of 372 to 250.

Top finishers from the CIML Metro Championship Meet will compete November 1 in Marshalltown for the District Meet.  Top finishers from the District will compete at the Iowa High School Girls State Meet. Seventeen members of the Roosevelt squad will represent the Lady Tankers at the District Meet.
