2016-2017 Scheduling

Dear Roosevelt Families:

We will begin the scheduling process for the 2016-2017 school year starting at the end of January.  Counselors will be going into classrooms starting on January 21st to advise students about academic pathways, graduation requirements and course selections for next year.  Course scheduling will be completed by students during class in February via the online scheduling tool on Infinite Campus.  Students will receive a hard copy of their scheduling requests to take home prior to scheduling online.

The Counseling Department is currently accepting requests for students who wish to take a course at Central Campus or Central Academy.  Students should speak with their grade level counselor if they are interested in enrolling in a particular course.  Central Campus is evaluating and considering new programs that meet students’ interest and demands. Central Campus and the Des Moines Public Schools is asking all 7th-11th grade students to complete an easy interest survey on proposed new programs and current programs. The survey has been assigned to all 7th-11th grade students as a task in Family Connection/Naviance.  Students can access the survey in the following way:

Click on the students and families tab in the top right hand corner

Type in: 50312

Select Roosevelt High School
