The Roosevelt Theatre Arts Department was invited to perform “The Rose” and “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy of Company B” for Bette Midler at the Des Moines Performing Arts Center. Zoey Stackhouse was one of six Des Moines Public Schools seniors to win an $8,000 Rotary Club of Des Moines scholarship to the school of her choice.
